Chauncey Bowens News: Top backup on opening depth chart

Bowens is listed as the top backup on the depth chart ahead of Saturday's season opener against Marshall, Radi Nabulsi of UGASports.com reports.

Bowens was reportedly making a good impression during fall camp, and it may have translated to a regular role in the rotation this fall. That said, the opening depth chart is far from a guarantee that the carries will be doled out accordingly, but it's at least a good sign that Bowens may be in the mix after totaling just 16 carries for 58 yards last season.
