Chris Brooks Jr. News: Listed as starter

Brooks is listed as a starting outside receiver on Wisconsin's first two-deep of 2025, per Colten Bartholomew of the Wisconsin State Journal.

This is somewhat of a surprise, as Ohio State transfer Jayden Ballard was widely expected to hold down the other outside receiver spot opposite Vinny Anthony. Still, Brooks won a starting job with a strong spring and fall camp. The tall, physical receiver is a good compliment to the speedster Anthony. Brooks has just one career catch for 27 yards.
