Chris Marshall News: Logs excellent first scrimmage

Marshall has been consistent through fall camp and logged an excellent first scrimmage, Nathan Carroll of 247Sports.com reports,.

Marshall is currently poised to be the third option out of Boise State's wide receivers in the pass game, but he has the potential to be the team's top option. The 6-foot-3 wide receiver is currently the only stable X receiver, which could make him a dangerous target for quarterback Maddux Madsen. The following week's should be a better indicator on who Madsen will look to the most this season, but Marshall has made some noise in fall camp so far.
