CJ Smith Injury: Inactive Week 1

Smith (undisclosed) will be inactive for Saturday's game against UT-Chattanooga, Jonah Dylan of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.

Smith, who is expected to lead the Memphis wideout room this season, is not dressed for the Tigers' season opener. The 6-foot-2 junior transfer from Purdue logged six receptions for 69 yards with the Boilermakers last season after starting his collegiate career at Georgia. Smith will have his next opportunity to suit up in Week 2 against Georgia State.
