Damari Alston Injury: Expected to play vs. Sooners

Alston (shoulder) is expected to play in Auburn's clash with Oklahoma on Saturday, per Nathan King of 247Sports.com.

Alston hasn't played since Auburn's opener against Baylor, when he ran for 84 yards and a score on 14 carries. Jeremiah Cobb and Omar Mabson have held it down for the Tigers' backfield in Alston's stead, but upon his return, he should be the unquestioned lead back once again. It's looking more and more like that will transpire Saturday in Norman.
