Darian Mensah News: Three turnovers in loss to Illini

Mensah completed 23 of 34 passes for 334 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 45-19 defeat versus Illinois. He also had seven rushes for two yards.

Mensah finished north of 330 yards passing and threw two touchdowns while completing over 67 percent of his passes, but the turnovers he committed were the biggest story from his performance. The gunslinger threw and interception and lost two fumbles. Duke as a whole committed five turnovers, which doomed any chances they had at a road upset. Mensah will look to bounce back next week in a revenge game against his old program, Tulane.
