With Tayven Jackson struggling, Belfort took over the offense on the final drive of the game with just a three-point deficit. He was very effective on the ground taking five carries for 36 yards, but he was intercepted on his lone pass attempt with 11 seconds left on the clock. Given Jackson's recent struggles, Belfort may have a chance to start in Saturday's difficult contest at Texas Tech.
