David Wells News: Career best in loss

Wells registered his collegiate best with 103 yards on six catches on Saturday in Oregon State's 45-14 defeat at Texas Tech.

It was one of the few bright spots for the Beavers in the contest in leading the receivers. The red-shirt sophomore has increased his output in each game this season and has become one of the reliable wide outs for Oregon State. Wells will look to keep it going on Saturday, Sept. 20, but it will be tough against rival Oregon in the annual interstate battle. The Ducks pass defense is in the top 20 in the nation.
