Dawson Pendergrass Injury: Suffers season-ending injury
Pendregrass will miss the entire 2025 season after suffering a foot injury in Saturday's scrimmage, head coach Dave Aranda told Garrett Ross of 247Sports.com.
This is a huge blow for the Bears, as the 6-foot-2, 234-pound running back was expected to play a vital role in Baylor's offensive scheme as the backup of Bryson Washington. Instead, Washington will carry a bigger load in the backfield, with freshman running backs Michael Turner and Caden Knighten set to operate as backups. Pendergrass rushed for 671 yards and six touchdowns in 2024.
