Devon Dampier News: Available as emergency option

Byrd Ficklin, not Dampier, is taking first-team reps with the offense ahead of Saturday's game against Colorado, Josh Furlong of KSL News Salt Lake City reports.

While Dampier will be available, he'll only do so as an emergency option behind Byrd Ficklin for Saturday's contest. Ficklin has completed all nine of his pass attempts this season for 138 yards and a touchdown. He's also been very effective with his legs, rushing the ball 17 times for 111 yards and three scores. Dampier is expected to return to his regular starting role once he's completely healthy and available to play.
