Dilin Jones News: Frontrunner for carries in Week 1
Jones is listed as a starter for the Badgers' upcoming game Thursday against Miami (OH), Colten Bartholomew of the Wisconsin State Journal reports.
Jones, Darrion Dupree and Cade Yacamelli have been competing to be the 2025 Badgers' starting running back. At least for Week 1, Jones has won out after establishing himself as their frontrunner this summer. Perhaps in one fell swoop, Jones can surpass his 2024 output of 16 carries for 88 yards, zero touchdowns.
