Drake Lindsey News: Tough day in defeat
Lindsey was 19-for-32 passing for 205 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 27-14 defeat to California.
Lindsey had a tough day against the Bears, totaling just 2025 yards with one touchdown and an interception while completing less than 60 percent of his passes. The 6-foot-5 quarterback found the end zone on a 3-yard toss to tight end Jameson Geers in the third quarter, giving Minnesota a 14-10 lead at the time. Lindsey has been serviceable for the Golden Gophers to start this season, throwing for 634 yards and four touchdowns to two interceptions through three games. His next opportunity will come against Rutgers following this week's bye.
