Dru DeShields News: Named starter moving forward

DeShields has been named the Golden Flashes' starter moving forward, per Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal.

DeShields has impressed for Kent State through three games, and just tossed for 279 yards and two touchdowns while completing 69 percent of his passes in his first career start. "He represented himself really, really well," interim coach Mark Carney said.
