Edwards (ankle) will sit out the Wildcats' upcoming game Saturday against North Dakota and is doubtful for their Sept. 6 matchup versus Army, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.

Edwards appeared to have injured his left ankle during Week 0, when the Wildcats played against Iowa State in Dublin, Ireland. Unfortunately for him, his injury problem may be a multi-game ordeal, as it looks more likely that he will sit out the Wildcats' first September matchup. After he was ruled out early in Week 0, the Wildcats went with Joe Jackson to lead their running game, and such is expected to continue in Week 1.
