E. Jai Mason News: Quiet night in loss

Mason totaled four receptions (on eight targets) for 24 yards during Thursday's 28-17 loss versus Rice.

After a career game last week against Monmouth, posting 228 yards, Mason struggled to produce against Rice. The senior is the 49ers' leading receiver this season, but has really only had one great game and will now have to switch quarterbacks as starter Conner Harrell left Thursday's game with a leg injury.
