E.J. Warner News: Throws two picks in opener

Warner completed 18 of 29 passes for 179 yards and two interceptions in Saturday's 31-7 defeat to Kansas.

It was a tough start to the season for Warner, who won the starting job over Joshua Wood and Jayden Mandal in fall camp. The senior Warner joined the Bulldogs as a transfer after throwing for 2,710 yards with 17 touchdowns and 13 interceptions with Rice last year. Warner will look to bounce back next week in a more-favorable home matchup with Georgia Southern.
