Eli Holstein News: Four scores in 2025 debut

Holstein completed 15 of 23 passes for 215 yards, four touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 61-9 victory over Duquesne. He also had seven rushes for 41 yards.

Holstein made quick work of the Dukes, leading Pitt to six scores in 10 drives under center before sitting out the entire fourth quarter. His four passing touchdowns set a career high. While Duquesne didn't provide as much resistance as Holstein will face in ACC play, it was a solid start to the campaign for the dual-threat signal caller. He totaled 2,228 passing yards, a 17:7 TD:INT, 328 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns in 10 games last season.
