Eli Stowers Injury: Probable for season opener
Head coach Clark Lea revealed that Stowers (undisclosed) is probable for Vanderbilt's season opener against Charleston Southern, per Aria Gerson of The Tennessean.
Stowers was previously sidelined in spring ball due to an undisclosed injury but appeared to be ready to go in early August. Though Lea didn't reveal the details of the injury, it seems minor and isn't expected to affect Stowers' availbility for Saturday. The 6-foot-4 tight end was a productive force for the Commodores in 2024, catching 49 passes for 638 yards and five touchdowns.
