Elijah Gilliam News: Increased role in win

Gilliam tallied nine rushes for 53 yards and a touchdown and reeled in two targets for 24 yards during Saturday's 56-7 victory over Southern University.

Gilliam matched Bryson Donelson for the team lead in carries Saturday after logging just eight carries for 48 yards in the first three games this season. However, the majority of Gilliam's work came in the second half, with the game already well in hand. Expect the senior to remain in a limited role behind Donelson and Rayshon Luke when Fresno State opens conference play against Hawaii next week.
