Emmett Johnson News: Decent day in loss

Johnson compiled 14 rushes for 63 yards and caught 5 of 6 targets for 37 yards during Friday's 24-6 loss versus Minnesota.

Though Johnson was held scoreless on the day, the 5-foot-11 running back managed to put together a moderate showing against the Golden Gophers, totaling 100 yards on 19 touches on the day. Johnson has been a driving force for the Nebraska offense this season, running for 713 yards and seven touchdowns through seven contests, adding 29 receptionsf or 167 yards and a score through the air as well. His next opportunity will come against Northwestern on Saturday.
