Gavin Garcia News: Active and practicing

Garcia (knee) has been active for Kent State throughout fall camp.

Garcia, who suffered a season-ending knee injury ahead of the 2024-25 season, has completed a lengthy comeback and looks ready to start the 2025-26 season. The 5-foot-7 redshirt junior recorded 138 carries for 544 yards and two touchdowns across 11 games during his sophomore year. Garcia will look to form a formidable one-two punch with Minnesota transfer Jodan Nubin this fall.
