Gevani McCoy News: Closing ground in position battle

McCoy is closing ground in his position battle with Evan Simon, per 247Sports.com.

McCoy could have a chance to beat out Simon in their battle to serve as the team's starting quarterback. McCoy completed 123 of 202 of his pass attempts for 1300 yards, three touchdowns and six interceptions last season at Oregon State and had previously spent time at Idaho as well.
