Hauss Hejny News: Competing for starting spot

Hejny will compete against Zane Flores for Oklahoma State's starting quarterback position, McClain Baxley of 247Sports.com reports.

Compared to Flores, Hejny has in-game experience, his counting stats including 15 carries for 65 yards. However, he has yet to attempt a throw, and Flores is a former three-star prospect. Oklahoma State's head coach Mike Gundy has under four weeks to select his starting quarterback for when the Cowboys host Tennessee-Martin on Aug. 28.
