Hauss Hejny News: Set to start Thursday

Hejny is set to start Thursday against Tennessee-Martin, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.

Even though the competition for the QB1 role hasn't fully settled yet, the fact that Hejny will start over Zane Flores should give the former a slight edge. Flores is also expected to see action, but Hejny will be the one who'll start the game. This will be his first game for the Cowboys. He spent the last season at TCU, where he recorded four appearances and didn't attempt a pass.
