Hunter Najm News: Quiet totals in first start

Najm was 11-for-15 passing for 129 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 27-21 loss to Eastern Michigan. He also had five rushes for nine yards.

Najm got the start for the Falcons with starter Drew Pyne (ankle) sidelined once again. While Najm completed all but four of his 15 passing attempts, he was only able to total 129 yards and log a 1:1 TD:INT. The 5-foot-11 redshirt freshman still has much to learn in the MAC Conference, but he could get another start if Pyne remains out after Bowling Green's bye week.
