Ian Schieffelin Injury: Will miss start of season post-DUI

Schieffelin will "miss some competition to start this season" after he was arrested on suspicion of DUI during the weekend, Chapel Fowler of The Columbia State reports.

Schieffelin, a longtime member of the Tigers' basketball program, joined their football team for 2025. Unfortunately for him, he will not be able to immediately get his football career off the ground. The development gives his team less depth at tight end to work with when they host LSU on Aug. 30. Ideally for Schieffelin, he can be available by September.
