Ian Strong Injury: Logs only one catch

Strong (undisclosed) gathered in his only target for six yards during Saturday's 56-10 loss versus Oregon. He left the game with an apparent lower-body injury in the second half and returned for one play before departing, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Strong is an NFL-caliber receiver and Athan Kaliakmanis' favorite target, but the Oregon defense harassed both players all day. Strong was specifically target by Oregon's secondary, and Kaliakmanis' lack of protection didn't help matters. Strong will try to bounce back against Purdue this week if he's able to play.
