Mahdi is expected to split carries with Kedrick Reescano, who is expected to be the team's lead back during the upcoming campaign. Mahdi spent last season at Texas State where he carried the ball 183 times for 991 yards and four touchdowns and will look to have similar productions with the Wildcats.
