Jacory Barney News: Scores against HCU

Barney accrued three receptions (on four targets) for 22 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 59-7 win versus Houston Christian.

Barney connected with quarterback Dylan Raiola on a nine-yard pass in the opening quarter, marking his first touchdown as a Cornhusker. The 6-foot sophomore was coming off a huge seven-catch, 132-yard day against Akron in Nebraska's previous game and has clearly worked his way into a larger role within the Nebraska offense. Barney will hope to continue his positive momentum when the Huskers host Michigan on Saturday.
