Jai'Den Thomas News: Three scores in opener

Thomas recorded 10 carries for 147 yards and three touchdowns and gathered in two targets for 16 yards during Saturday's 38-31 win against Idaho State.

It was an ideal start to the season for the junior running back. Thomas got UNLV on the board with a 39-yard touchdown early in the second quarter before breaking off a 70-yard score on the Rebels' subsequent drive. Expectations are high for the 5-foot-9 Thomas after he rushed for 918 yards and seven touchdowns as a sophomore last year.
