Jake Newell Injury: Out for Week 1

Newell (undisclosed) won't play in Week 1 against Wyoming.

The tight end had a solid season in 2024, reeling in 35 catches for 254 yards and two touchdowns. Newell is expected to be the Zips' starting tight end, but Conner Cravaack should assume that role at least in the opener.
