Jake Retzlaff News: Will split time in Week 2

Retzlaff and Brendan Sullivan will split quarterback snaps during Saturday's game at South Alabama, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.

Sullivan out for Week 1 allowed Retzlaff to take advantage and put up great numbers Saturday against Northwestern. But with Sullivan healthy for Week 2, the competition turns at least a little stiffer going into Saturday. During the first week, Retzlaff logged 16 completions for 152 yards and one touchdown with 10 carries for an additional 113 yards and TD.
