Jay Jay Etheridge News: Listed in backup role

Etheridge is listed as a backup receiver for the Week 1 matchup against Merrimack on Saturday, Mike Bainbridge of Athlon Sports reports.

Etheridge won't be among the starters in the passing attack for Kent State -- at least according to the initial depth chart. The starters seem to be Dashawn Martin, Da'Realyst Clark and Wayne Harris.
