Jayden Maiava News: Efficient in victory

Maiava completed 17 of 28 passes for 282 yards during Saturday's 33-17 win over Purdue. He also had seven rushes for 10 yards with one touchdown.

Maiava didn't throw a TD pass in the win, but he ran in for one score and put his placekicker into the red zone several times, resulting in four field goals. Maiava excelled against a tougher opponent, although his numbers were a little bit lower.
