Jayden Maiava News: Poor pass totals in narrow win

Maiava was 9-for-23 passing for 135 yards and one interception during Saturday's 21-17 victory versus Nebraska. He also had 11 rushes for 62 yards with one touchdown.

Nebraska's secondary shut down Maiava and USC's potent passing attack, but the quarterback was fortunate enough to get work done with his legs. Maiava and his talented trio of receivers had difficulties for the second consecutive game after they had limited success versus Notre Dame. They'll return home this week to face Northwestern, where Maiava should show some improvement.
