Jaydn Ott Injury: Not deemed starter for OU

Ott (shoulder) isn't listed as a starter on the Sooners' opening depth chart of 2025.

Ott could still be dealing with the shoulder ailment that's limited him during fall camp, so that could play into the decision to list him as the third running back behind Javonte Barnes and freshman Tory Blaylock. Still, Ott was a significant transfer portal addition after three strong years at California, so his absence is somewhat curious. It remains to be seen how Oklahoma will operate in the backfield.
