J'Marion Burnette Injury: Inactive Week 3

Burnette (hand) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Colorado, Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Burnette has been ruled out on the Cougars' initial injury report ahead of Friday's game against the Buffaloes. The 6-foot-2 sophomore suffered a car-related incident ahead of Houston's Week 2 game against Rice that has left him with a hand injury of unknown severity. Burnette, who logged 10 carries for 40 yards, along with a 39-yard reception during Houston's opener, will have his next chance to return against Oregon State in Week 5.
