J'Marion Burnette News: Co-starter for Week 1

Burnette is listed as a co-starter for the Cougars' upcoming game Thursday against Stephen F. Austin, Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Burnette, Re'Shaun Sanford and Dean Connors are all co-starters at running back. Burnette at RB1 should give him a prime opportunity to surpass his 2024 stats, defined by 43 carries for 182 yards.
