It is unclear why Royer has made his way to the locker room, but reports seem to indicate a potential head injury, per TNT's broadcast. The 6-foot-5 senior tight end tallied two receptions for 24 yards prior to leaving the contest. It is unclear if Royer will have a chance to return in a nailbiter against the Jayhawks.
