Joe Royer News: 104 yards in win

Royer hauled in all two targets for 104 yards during Saturday's 34-20 win against Bowling Green.

After a quiet performance in the season opener, Royer exploded for a career-high 104 yards in Saturday's win. He did that on only two targets, thanks to his 73-yard reception in the second quarter. Despite that explosion of yards thanks to two big catches, his two targets are his fewest since joining Cincinnati ahead of last season which is slightly concerning. While he should be able to produce Saturday versus Northwestern State, the true tests will come once conference play starts.
