Johntay Cook News: Impressing in camp

Cook is impressing in Syracuse's fall camp, per Samantha Croston of CNY Central.

Cook spent the past two years as something of an afterthought in the Texas offense, reeling in eight catches in both 2023 and 2024. Last season, he parlayed that into 137 yards and two scores, but elected to transfer to Syracuse to expand his role. He's slated to be a huge part of a revitalized Orange passing attack, and the news that he's standing out in camp to just about everybody indicates that he won't take long to make his presence felt in Upstate New York.
