Johntay Cook News: Pops in Syracuse debut

Cook totaled six receptions (on 10 targets) for 58 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 45-26 loss to Tennessee.

Cook drew lots of praise during training camp and showed exactly why those around the Orange program were excited about him. The Texas transfer led the team in targets, catches and receiving yards while reeling in quarterback Steve Angeli's lone passing touchdown. Cook caught a total of 16 passes in 12 games across two seasons with the Longhorns, but looks the part of Syracuse's top wide receiver.
