Josh Hoover News: Cruises in season opening victory

Hoover was 27-for-36 passing for 284 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Monday's 48-14 victory against North Carolina.

Hoover overcame an early interception to have an efficient night on the box score. Game script prevented him from having a huge night as he was on pace for a lot of throws before TCU shifted primarily to the run-game while up 41-14 at the end of the third quarter. Hoover and the Horned Frogs look like they can be dangerous in the Big 12 this year and in more competitive games. Hoover has high upside and is a must start moving forward. TCU plays Abilene Christian after a bye week.
