Hoover was 21-for-27 passing for 337 yards and four touchdowns during Saturday's 42-21 victory against Abilene Christian.

Hoover made it look easy as the Horned Frogs jumped out to a 28-0 lead at halftime. The Horned Frogs throttled down the offense in the second half or it could have been even better for Hoover. In just two games, Hoover already has six touchdown passes. They likely saved some of that offensive firepower as they go up against SMU next week. That could be one of the highest scoring games of the year.
