Later, Werner confirmed that Week 3 (which includes Illinois vs. Western Michigan) is when Bowick suffered his undisclosed injury. Fortunately for him, his X-rays included a negative result. Thus, Werner may be available during Illinois' next game, currently Saturday at Indiana.
