Kedren Young Injury: Out for season

Young (knee) will miss the entire 2025-26 season after sustaining a torn ACL, Tyler James of On3.com reports.

Young will have his season cut short before the Fighting Irish kick off against Miami in Week 1 after tearing the ACL in his right knee during practice. The 5-foot-11 redshirt freshman running back had hopes of mixing in behind Jeremiyah Love in Notre Dame's offense after recording 21 carries for 116 yards and a touchdown across three games as a true freshman last fall. Young will look to make a full recovery ahead of the 2026-27 season.
