Kevorian Barnes News: Earning most of first-team reps

Barnes took the majority of the first-team reps during Sunday's scrimmage, according to Steven Johnson of The Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Barnes had a number of impressive plays during Sunday's scrimmage, and the fact that he took most of the first-team reps suggests that he's likely to be a constant fixture out of the Horned Frogs' backfield. If the season were to start in the coming days, he'd probably be the starter at running back. Barnes, a senior, logged 147 carries for 715 yards (4.9 yards per carry) and six touchdowns in his 11 games for UTSA in 2024.
