Keyone Jenkins Injury: Returns to game Tuesday

Jenkins (back) reentered Tuesday's 25-6 win over Western Kentucky.

Jenkins was able to return to Tuesday's win over the Hilltoppers on FIU's opening drive of the second half. The 6-foot junior, who was reported to be dealing with back/rib injuries per Kevin Barral of SI.com, finished the game completing 17-of-26 pass attempts for 184 yards and one touchdown. Jenkins' status ahead of next Tuesday's game against Kennesaw State will be worth monitoring to see if any lingering soreness inhibits his practice load.
