Kwinten Ives News: Productive in blowout

Ives compiled 12 rushes for 85 yards and one touchdown and hauled in all two targets for 36 yards during Saturday's 59-7 victory versus Houston Christian.

Ives put together a solid performance against Houston Christian, running for a career-high 85 yards and a touchdown. The 6-foot-3 running back found the end zone on a four-yard run in the third quarter, extending the massive lead the Huskers had built. Despite putting together a productive day against Houston Christian, Ives remains the backup to starter Emmett Johnson and cannot be relied upon on a weekly basis.
