Kyron Drones News: Big day in loss

Drones completed 26 of 39 passes for 266 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 45-26 loss versus Old Dominion. He also had 18 rushes for 65 yards with one touchdown.

Virginia Tech was playing from behind for most of Saturday's contest, which allowed Drones to attempt a season-high 39 passes. He had his best statistical game of 2025 so far, setting season bests in completion percentage, passing yards, rushing yards and total touchdowns. He did throw an interception and lose two fumbles, though.
